INTRO

I'm 28 and I live in the southern US. goth + metalhead, and I love astrology, horror, and the occult. I have a soft spot for anything in the fantasy genre. I collect vinyls, and writing/drawing are my hobbies. i love anime, i watch a lot of movies (my letterboxd,) and mostly I game.

no zionists, no bigots (no transphobes, biphobes, lesbophobes, homophobes, fatphobes, ableists, racists, or classists,) no radfems/terfs/swerfs. nobody who politically aligns any way but left. truscum/transmeds can gtfo, and in general I don't want interaction from discourse accounts. nobody who interacts with adult/minor, grooming, or incest content. no billy hargrove stans.

y'all really need to stop morally judging people for "thought crimes," and learn that depiction/consumption =/= endorsement
fiction can normalize things and effect reality, which makes it twice as important that everyone learns critical thinking and can understand the purpose of any kind of content
trans women are women and thus can be lesbians
lesbianism can include nonbinary people and anyone not male-aligned
"bi lesbian" is not a real identity and defining bi and lesbian correctly is not even remotely comparable to "gatekeeping," furthermore every existing definition of "bi lesbian" is different and each one is either lesbophobic, biphobic, or transphobic. it is also transphobic to compare it to terfism and if you use the term "blerf" you owe a trans woman money.
asexuals/aromantics and intersex folks have a place if they want
they/them and he/him lesbians are valid
neopronouns and all the “weird” genders ppl mock are also valid, thinking otherwise is respectability politics and transphobia
the split attraction model is not inherently harmful, but it's incredibly harmful when removed from an ace/aro context
pansexuality and bisexuality are equally valid
butch/femme have historic roots in the black queer community and the lesbian community, so if you're neither, you do not fit in the context of these identities.
i couldn't give a real shit about slur usages tbh but there is an element of...dissonance I think to people in m/f relatonships referring to themselves as f*ggots or dykes
just because something has historical precedence doesn't make it automatically valid. language changes to suit the times and clinging to decades outdated models and language is not valid based on history alone
ao3 doesnt have the money or manpower to start censoring fics, and even if they had the ability to ride arbitrary lines to do so, it would render the tagging system useless because people with objectionable content would simply stop tagging, making the site much more dangerous. stop bashing it and ppl who use it unless you can offer a practical solution that actually protects ppl and isn’t just morally performative soapboxing. being more concerned about censoring ao3 than the minorities getting literally censored off the internet right now shows a poor sense of priorities anyway.
